Errata

As author of Jazz Scores and Analysis I apologize for the few errors or design flaws we have learned about from our readers. It is our hope that the next printing will be error free. Thanks to our readers for identifying these errors. It's hard to find a published book or score that doesn't have a few “clams!” When possible we will provide our readers with substitute pages that correct these errors.

It's also worth mentioning that the Hollenbeck score is NOT a transposed score but is in concert pitch, as John wrote it. Ellis Island, however, is published as a concert score but described in the text as a transposed score. Additionally, please correct the three trumpet chords in bar 15 in the reduction at the bottom of the page in the Fedchock score. These chords should be transposed to concert pitch, down a major 2nd from where they are currently written. Please make note of these corrections in your copies.

The PDFs offered here should be self explanatory and will correct further errors.

Once again, thank you for your support by purchasing Volume 1. Volume 2 is in the works.
