Each drum part is methodically transcribed, as are the main movements of the lead drum as the \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003etoque\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e (rhythm) progresses.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe main body of the book then consists of the words and melodies of over a hundred songs that make up the bulk of the repertoire from this tradition. Both the melodies and rhythms are written out, along with the percussion accompaniment.
