Bob Mover, born in 1952, started playing alto saxophone at 13 and quickly impressed Phil Woods, earning a scholarship at 15 to Woods’ Summer Jazz camp. He learned from jazz legends like Roy Eldridge, Kenny Dorham, Jaki Byard and Ira Sullivan, later joining Charles Mingus' and Chet Baker's groups. Collaborations with Lee Konitz and Walter Davis Jr. followed, leading to acclaimed albums like “In the True Tradition.” Throughout his career, Mover taught, toured, and recorded extensively, recently founding Lower Manhattan Music Studio and continuing his jazz education efforts with “Bob Mover JazzAbility” and his podcast “On the Real Side.”

Isaac Raz, a Berklee College graduate in jazz composition, studied under Herb Pomeroy and won the Duke Ellington award. He has a Master's in Teaching from Lehman College, CUNY. Mentored by Barry Harris and colleague of Bob Mover, Isaac orchestrated for Mover’s album, arranged for Teo Macero’s “Impressions of Miles Davis”, and composed for the Emmy-winning “Pioneer Women”. He recently orchestrated Antoine Drye’s “Retreat to Beauty”. Isaac is president of Whole Music LLC, teaching worldwide and working in music composition, production, and arrangement.
